Biography –

I believe that dedication to a school’s core values is at the heart of service as a school governor.  Like my father before me and my son after, I attended S Barnabas’ School and believe in the mission it has pursued since its foundation.  As a churchwarden at our parish church, I represent the interests of our foundation in its support of the education of our local children.

I have extensive experience in automotive industry and am actively involved in the professional racing Mini circuit across the UK and Europe.

I have lived in Tunbridge Wells all of my life and have been the site caretaker at

St Barnabas’ CE Primary School since 2005, having previously worked at another local primary school in a number of different roles. I also manage the school crossing and have recently been awarded a recognition of 25 years service as School Crossing Patrol Officer.

I have seen the growth and success of the school in the time that I have worked here and I have been proud to play a part in that journey. I have served on the school PTFA since joining St Barnabas; holding the roles of both volunteer and treasurer and taking an active role in all fund raising events and campaigns. The opportunity to serve as a staff member of the Governing Body is a different challenge for me and I am looking forward to supporting the school in this new role.

Out of school my interests include organising and running DJ music events for local primary schools and also for private events and functions. I have been a staffer and moderator supporting players engaging in online computer games.

I am a committed Christian and an active member of a local Pentecostal church.

Being part of a Church of England Primary school is important to me.
