Our English/topic work this week will be on the Battle of Marathon. We will be looking at the events that took place and writing a newspaper article reporting on it.
In maths, we are going to finish off our unit on the four operations. We will start with a little bit more work on division before moving onto multi-step problem solving and mental arithmetic techniques.
In RE, we are looking at Christian views on God as a Creator, looking at Psalm 8 in particular.
In science, we will finish off writing up our science experiment.
Spag work will be on antonyms and synonyms.
French will be learning numbers to 30.
Homework due in tomorrow. Don't forget swimming kits too!
Spelling test will be on Wednesday and times tables test on Thursday so revise if you want to earn dojo points!!
