Art Workshop Days

Next Wednesday and Thursday we are having two Art Workshop Days in School.  We are finding out about the famous Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai who was born in 1760 in a city called Edo (which is now known as Tokyo).  Lilac Class will be looking carefully at many of his drawings, prints and paintings to inspire us to create our own whole class collective ‘Wave and Volcano’ montage using a range of materials. The class will also be involved in drama workshops led by ‘The Drama Geezers’ who visited the school last year.
