Term 2, week 7

The last week of term again! I just wanted to say how amazing the children have all been again this term, working hard and showing all our school values. Thank you to all the parents and carers who have supported the children in their homework and reading again this term. I hope you all have a restful and enjoyable Christmas break.

This week in English, we will be finishing our neat copies of the stories we have written and continue to learn our Christmas carols. We hope some of you will be able to join us on Tuesday for our KS2 Carol service at the church.

In Maths this week we will be working on consolidating our addition and subtraction work, using some Christmas themed maths problems!

We will be preparing for our Christmas lunch with some craft activities too this week!

Maple class will still have PE on Monday and Thursday, and both sessions will be with myself and Mr Luckhurst.

Reading Records will generally be changed on a Monday and Thursday, but the children can request a change on other days too. We will do our best to accommodate this.

You might be pleased to note that there will be no homework this week, but please do ask the children to read over the holidays and maybe use the opportunity for some of them to catch up on any missing homework too.

I am always happy to answer any questions you may have so please do contact me if you have any queries, using the class email address:

Best wishes
