Welcome back everyone! We are so excited to have everyone back in the classroom again.

In English this week, we are going to focus on creating a setting for our class quest narrative. First, we are going to design a kingdom. Then we are going to inhabit it with good and bad characters. Next, we are going to build a huge representation of our kingdom and display it on a working wall. Finally, we will pick a hero and use our map to help plan their quest.

In Maths, we are going to start a new unit of work on Fractions. First, we are going to explore how to record fractions using fractional and written notation. Next, we are going to explore fractions of shapes. Finally, we are going to use paper plate and bar models to help us find fractions of amounts.

In Science we are going to look at material changes while in R.E. we are going to explore Salvation. In Art and Design, we are going to create pieces of folk art with repeating patterns.
