In our Phonics lessons we will be learning about words containing the ‘er’ suffix, such as louder and quicker and the ‘est’ suffix, such as loudest and quickest. We will also be reading the words ‘beautiful’ and ‘treasure’, writing the words ‘Monday’ and ‘Tuesday’ and revisiting alternative ways of making the ‘yoo’ and ‘oo’ sounds.

This week in English we will be reading the story ‘I am the Happiest’ by Anna Shuttlewood and using the ‘er’ and ‘est’ suffixes to create our own sentences.

In Maths, we will be recognising and finding quarter of an object and recognising and finding quarter of a quantity.

This week in RE we will be learning about Hinduism and some of its traditions. We will also be listening to the story of Rama and Sita.

In Computing, we will be planning and programming a route for the Bee-Bots.

Willow class have PE on Wednesday morning and Thursday morning. Please make sure that your child has their PE kit in school on these days.
