Term 2 Week 6
Here is an overview of our learning activities for week commencing 5th December 2022.
This week in Phonics we will be learning about the ‘u-e’ split digraph, in words like cube and use, and the ‘e-e’ split digraph, in words like even and theme. We will also be learning to read the words ‘called’ and ‘asked’ and to spell the words ‘what’ and ‘could’.
In Maths, we will be continuing to learn about 2D and 3D shapes. This week we will be sorting shapes and making shape patterns.
In RE, the class will be discussing our key question of the term "Why does Christmas matter to Christians?" and reflecting on what we have learnt this term.
We will also be rehearsing for the KS1 nativity. We are looking for to performing our play on 7th and 8th December at 2pm.
