This week in Phonics we will be learning about the split digraph ‘a-e’ in words like cake, game and late. We will also be learning to read the words ‘love’ and ‘your’ and to spell the words ‘little’ and ‘one’.

 In Maths we will be continuing to learn about subtraction. This week we will be focussing on taking away a quantity and counting back on a number line. We will also be doing some number fluency work on odd and even numbers.

In English, we will be writing instructions. This week in our RE lesson, we will be talking about examples of ways that Christians use the Nativity to guide their beliefs and actions at Christmas.
