This week is assessment week and the children will be completing quizzes throughout the week to check on their progress in reading, writing and maths. It will help us to know what things we need to spend more time learning. 

We will also be learning about compound words, such as football, where two words go together to make a longer word. In English we will be starting to look at the book Meerkat Mail by Emily Gravett and learning how to write a postcard. In Maths we will be starting to learn about time and how to sequence events.  In RE we will be learning about the Buddhist story of The Monkey King and doing some activities based on the story.
