Home Learning Day 4

Hello again Lilac Class!

Today I would like you to complete the following activities:

1. Please finish all your work from yesterday.  There was a lot there.  Below is a reminder of what I set you for Science:

Please carefully read the Friction Fact File sheet and then write down 10 key facts that you have learnt about friction.  This will prepare you for our next investigation we are doing as part of our Forces Science topic.  You can draw and label examples of friction that are on the sheet.

2. I have set you some more revision on fractions and have attached a worksheet and an answer sheet entitled ‘Convert mixed numbers to improper fractions.’  Remember, only do what you can.  I am not expecting everyone to have completed both sheets. 

3. On Thursdays I give out your Home Learning Book that is marked and has the new homework stuck in for you.  However, as we are not in school, this cannot be done for you.  I have attached your new homework for this week that needs to be completed by Tuesday 9^th December. 

4.  I have attached examples of Mayan Art.  Choose at least 2 examples and carefully draw them, looking at the shapes, patterns and themes.  If you have felt tip pens or coloured pencils, you can colour in your work.

5.  Finally, please do not forget to learn the lyrics from memory to ‘I can see clearly now’ by Johnny Nash.  This is going to be our individual item for the Tunbridge Wells Singing Festival, and we need to know the words to the song from memory!
