Home Learning Day 2

Hello Lilac Class!

Today I would like you to complete the following activities:

1. Complete the White Rose Maths worksheet entitled ‘Recognise Equivalent Fractions’.  As I did yesterday, I have also attached the answer sheet.  Only do what you can.  This work is again much needed revision!
2. I would like you to write a non-chronological report with the title The life of an ordinary Mayan.  I have attached lots of information for you to read.  Only write about the key areas that you are interested in and give each category that you choose to write about a subheading.  Examples of categories could be The Home, Mayan Clothes, Women, Children, Food and Farming and Crafts.  You can illustrate your non-chronological report with illustrations and captions (a brief piece of information about your picture).
3. The next thing I would like you to complete is the reading comprehension sheet ‘The History of Chocolate’.  Read the text and then answer the questions.  The answers are also provided.
4. Finally, please can you learn the lyrics from memory to ‘I can see clearly now’ by Johnny Nash.  This is going to be our individual item for the Tunbridge Wells Singing Festival.
