In Maple Class this week:

We will continue with lots of practice sessions for the show again this week and the children are working so hard to learn the songs and their own lines. Mrs Barter and I are very impressed with all the children.

English: this week will again mainly be dedicated to the show, but we will be doing some more writing linked to this if there is time.

Maths: we will be continuing with the second multiplication and division unit this week, focusing on reasoning with multiplication.

Art: this week, we will continue making props for the play. This, again, will involve a variety of tasks and, hopefully, the children will all have a go at a number of different techniques.

RE: this term, we will be looking at Salvation, asking why Christians call the day Jesus died ‘Good Friday’.

Time and Place: we will be further investigating the United Kingdom.

In addition, we will also be doing Science and Computing with Mrs Banner.

Homework will be issued Tuesday as normal, and is due back the following Monday. In addition, please send your children in with their reading records on Mondays and Thursdays. If your child needs a book changed on other days, we will do our best to accommodate this.
