In English and Communication this week we are going to turn our attention towards narrative writing. We are going to focus on telling the part of our quest in which Lady Glacier tries to sneak past the Cave Troll. We will start by creating simple sentences to tell the story. We will then focus on using conjunctions and adverbial phrases to add detail to our writing. 

In phonics we will be focusing on adding the -ing and -ed suffix. Our tricky words are England and tongue. Our grammar focus is to use irregular verbs written in the past tense. 

In Maths, we are going to continue to explore division. We will use both grouping and sharing to solve division problems. 

In Science and Computing, we are going to plan an investigation to test what plants need to stay healthy. 

In Time and Place we are going to learn about the events immediately after the coronation of Harold Godwinson right up to the battle of Hastings.
