Home Learning: Tuesday 2nd December

If you haven't managed to complete any home learning yet this week, I suggest you read the previous blog posts and complete the activities already set. However, if you have completed everything so far, please read on!
Here is your Home Learning schedule for Tuesday 2nd December.
Reading: Read the attached non-fiction text about Antarctica. Then answer the reading comprehension questions.
English and Communication: This term we have been completing diary writing from the point of view of Samuel Pepys. Today, we would like you to try to write a diary entry from your own perspective. You could choose to write about your day yesterday or select a more memorable day in your life. Please send your work to the class email address so Mr M can give you some feedback.
Phonics: Please see the separate blog post to practise the phonics skills we are learning this week. Don't forget to practise your tricky words.
Maths: Here is your next online lesson.

Now try the attached worksheet. We have also included the answers so you can mark your own work.
Science and Computing: This week we are due to start a new digital photography unit. Start by viewing the attached slides. Now, with the support of an adult, can you take a photograph which meets each of these challenges?

Wider Curriculum: If you are still looking for more home learning challenges, pick an additional activity from the Home Learning Matrix.
As always, if you have any questions or would like feedback on any of your learning activities, please contact Mr M directly using the class email address.
