In English and Communication this week, we are using all the skills we have learnt this term to write a recount of the day that Samuel Pepys visited the Frost Fair. 

In Phonics, we are using 'le' to make the /l/ sound. Our tricky words are 'world' and 'work'. Our grammar focus is using common nouns. 

In Maths, we are learning to subtract across a 10s barrier using the bridging through 10 technique. 

In Time and Place, we are going to learn about the Frost Fairs. 

We will also complete Guided Reading, Mastering Number, PE, RE, Design and the Arts and PHSCE sessions as well.
