In English and Communication, we are finishing off of diary entried from the point of view of Samuel Peopys. We will aim to add historical detail and harvest words and phrases from texts we have read to make our writing sound more authentic. 

In Phonics we are using 'gn' to make the /n/ sound. Our tricky words are 'know' and 'colour'. Our grammar focus is using aphabetical order to use dictionaries. 

In Maths, we are focusing on using know addition and subtraction facts to work out related calculations. We will then use our number bonds to 10 to help work out our bonds to 100. 

In Science and Computing, we will focus on sorting materials according to thier material properites. We will then explore the building materials used to make houses in 1666. We will consider how suitable these materials were for house consrtuction and how the contributed to the spread of the Great Fire. 

We will also complete Mastering Number, Guided Reading, RE, PE and PHSCE lessons as well. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
