What a wonderful diary from the point of view of Samuel Pepys visiting a Thames Frost Fair!

Rowan and Lena, you both really got the hang of how to use number bonds to 10 to help add 3 single digit values with increased efficiency.

Here is the shared writing that we created in our Live English lesson this morning.

Here are some words and phrases that Charlie jotted down after his time outside yesterday:

Remember to tune in to take part in live registration. Mr M will be there to welcome you, take the register and talk you through today’s learning. If you have any questions or do not understand something about today’s learning, please ask. This is a great opportunity for us to share ideas and ask questions.
Before this session starts, please try to print out the See/Smell/Hear help sheet and the Show/Tell help sheets that are attached to this blog post.
In this session we are going to take Mr M's plan and work together to turn it into a complete piece of diary writing. When the writing is complete, I will add it to the blog so you can use it to help get ideas for your writing.
If you have not made a plan of your own, don’t worry. Mr M had shared his plan on this blog post. You are welcome to use his plan.
Activity:
Take the understanding gained in today’s live session, your plan and the help sheets and write your own diary entry for the day Pepys went to the frost fair. This is a long piece of writing, so please don’t feel you have to get it all done at once. I will allocate more time later in the week to complete this writing.
Remember to read at home for at least 20 minutes today. Today we would like you to visit the Oxford Owl website:

Find a book which is the right level for you (please ask for help if you need doing this). Read the book, complete the activities and then let us know what you thought about the book. If you haven’t done so already, finish the worksheets from yesterday.
