This week there are parent consultations on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (in the hall) after school. Please sign up on Arbor if you have not already done so. If you are unable to attend on those days, please speak to Mrs Pring and she will try to sort out an alternative day to meet with you.

We have reached the final week of this term, and it has been lovely to see how the children have settled into the Year 1 routines.

In Phonics, we will be learning about the ‘i-e’ and ‘o-e’ split digraph sounds. We will also be reading the words ‘people’ and ‘looked’ and writing the words ‘do’ and ‘when’.

In Maths, we will be continuing to learn about addition. This week we will be investigating number bonds and adding groups of objects together.

Willow class has PE on Tuesday afternoon and Thursday morning this week. Please make sure your child has their PE kit in school on those days.

In our Computing lesson we will be using Paintz app to create a picture.
