In our Phonics lessons, we will be learning about words containing the ‘er’ suffix, such as louder and quicker, and the ‘est’ suffix, such as loudest and quickest. We will also be reading the words ‘beautiful’ and ‘treasure’, and writing the words ‘Monday’ and ‘Tuesday’.

This week in English, we will be reading the story The Great Explorer by Chris Judge and doing some activities about the story.

In Maths, we will be recognising equal groups, adding equal groups and making arrays.

This week in RE, we will be learning about Judaism and the story of David and Goliath.

In Computing, the children will be making changes to the font and the size of their writing.

In our Time and Place work, we will be locating the countries of the UK and their capital cities.

Willow class has PE on Tuesday afternoon and Friday morning. Please make sure that your child has their PE kit in school on these days. This term we will be developing our athletic skills and playing target games.
