In our Phonics lessons we will be learning about words containing the ‘s’ suffix, such as cars and dogs and the ‘es’ suffix, such as buses and foxes. We will also be reading the words ‘scissors’ and ‘castle’, writing the words ‘live’ and ‘coming’.

This week in English we will be reading the story Oi Frog by Kes Gray and Jim Field and doing some activities about groups of animals and rhyming words.

In Maths, we will be practising counting forwards and backwards in 2s, 5s and 10s.

We are starting a new topic in RE. Over the next two terms we will be listening to stories from different faiths and learning about different places of worship. This week we will be learning about Judaism and some of its traditions.

This term Willow class will have PE on Tuesday afternoon and Friday morning, so please make sure that your child has their PE kit in school on these days.
