In Maths, we will be learning about 2D shapes. This week we will be recognising and naming shapes, sorting them into groups and completing shape patterns.

In our main Phonics lessons this week we will be learning to read and write words containing ‘ch’ which make a /c/ sound (such as school and Christmas) and a /sh/ sound (such as chef and parachute). We will also be reading the words ‘thought’ and ‘through’ and writing the words ‘Mr’ and ‘Mrs’.

This week we will be finishing off our artwork and other topic work. Willow Class will have PE on Thursday morning.

This term finishes at 3:15pm on Friday 19th December and the children are due to return to school on Monday 5th January. The Willow Class team would like to wish you all an enjoyable Christmas break, and we look forward to seeing you in January 2026!
