In Phonics, we will be learning to read and write words containing the ‘a-e’ split digraph (such as game, snake and ate). We will also be reading the words ‘love’ and ‘your’ and writing the words ‘little’ and ‘one’.

In Maths, we will be continuing to learn about addition. This week we will be investigating number bonds to 10 by working systematically and adding more on.

In English, we will be writing instructions. This week we will be talking about how to use time connectives (first, then, next, after that) and imperative verbs (put, stick, mix) to make our instruction clear.

In our Computing lesson we will be using shapes and lines to make a picture.

In our Art lesson we will be finishing off our portraits and making pictures in the style of Piet Mondrian.

In our RE lesson, we will be talking about the Nativity Story and sequencing it.

Willow class has PE on Tuesday afternoon and Thursday morning this term. Please make sure your child has their full PE kit in school on those days.
