In English, this week, we are going to focus on the wordless book ‘Journey’ by Aaron Becker. We will be using nouns (naming words) and adjectives (describing words) to describe a scene from the story. 

In Maths, we will continue to focus on the numbers 0 to 10. This week we will be finding one more than a number up to 10, counting from 10 and finding one less than a number to 10.

In RE, we will be discussing what the story of the Lost Son means to Christians and how they put their belief that God is a forgiving and loving Father into practise.

In Art, we will be starting to create our own portraits in different styles.

In our Science work, we will be talking about the properties of different everyday materials.

Willow Class has PE on Tuesday afternoon and Thursday morning. The children will continue to develop their ball skills. Please make sure your child has their PE kit in school on these days.
