Well done Farisa!
Well done Farisa!
Here are your home learning tasks for today.
We know that this is work from another class, but we thought you might like to see Holbrook's Rube Goldberg machine. It is designed to deliver milk to his cat!
Here it is in action:
Henry has been writing about his made up animal which is called a Giragphin. It is a mixture of a giraffe, jaguar and a dolphin. It is awake in the day (diurnal) and lives by the ocean. Fantastic work Henry!
Saanvi has written a report about Reptiles and has also been classifying animals into groups. Great work Saanvi!
Shaarvi has been finding one more and one less than numbers to 100. She has also been finding missing numbers and practising her addition skills. Great work Shaarvi!
Jathin has written about a dragon that breathes fire, who lives in a cave. It is an omnivore and nocturnal. Great work Jathin!
Henry has been making bird feeders. They are great. Well done Henry!
We know this is work from another class, but we though you might like to see Hayden's amazing chain reaction machine in action!
Well done Hayden!

Here is the overview for your learning this week. We will post on the blog daily with more details of your learning for that day. This coming week Willow Class will be having story times on Tuesday at 2:15pm and on Thursday at 11:30am. It would be lovely if you are able to join us for these sessions.
I was reading the news this week when I saw an article about the professional tennis player, Edouard Roger-Vasselin. He is currently isolating before the start of the Australian Open Tennis Tournament. While he was stuck in his hotel room, he created this chain reaction machine:

Can you create a chain reaction machine at home?
If you have dominoes you could set up a Domino Rally.

If you don’t have dominoes, could you use other objects that bump and move each other.

How many objects can you involve?
When your chain reaction machine is complete, please take a photo of it or video of it in action and send it in to your class email address so we can give you feedback and post your work on the blog.
We will also pick out some winning entries in celebration assembly next week!
