Here is the Home Learning for Wednesday 8th March 2023. This should be completed by Monday 13th March 2023.

Maths

This week we would like you to practise writing addition and subtraction number sentences.

Now try to make up your own maths puzzle and write the number sentences to go with that.

Spelling/Phonics

Group 1

This week we would like you to practise spelling words containing the words containing the ‘ow’ digraph (such as slow, own and window) and the ‘oe’ digraph (such as toe, doe and goes) which both make on ‘oa’ sound in some words. Try completing the ‘Home Learning Challenge’ on the attached sheet.

Group 2

This week we would like you to practise spelling words containing the words containing the ‘ow’ digraph. Complete the attached sheet by filling in the missing digraphs and writing the words.
