Here is the Home Learning for Wednesday 1st February 2023. This should be completed by Monday 6th February 2023.

Maths

In class, we have been practising adding by counting on. This week we would like you to watch this learning video:

Now try the attached worksheet to put your new skills into practise. We have also included the answers if you need them.  

Spelling/Phonics

Group 1

This week we would like you to practise spelling words with the “ue” grapheme in. In some words it makes a ‘yoo’ sound (such as in fuel & argue) and in other words it make an ‘oo’ sound (such as in glue & true). Complete the ‘Home Learning Challenge’ on the attached sheet.

Group 2

Complete the attached sheet with words containing the ‘ng’ and ‘th’ sounds.
