Home Learning: Term 3 Week 3

Here is the Home Learning for Wednesday 18th January 2023. This should be completed by Monday 23rd January 2023.

Each week Home Learning books will be sent out on Wednesday and will be collected in on the following Monday. Home learning will also appear on the Willow Class blog on the school website.

Maths

In class, we have been practising accurately counting objects to represent the numbers 11 to 20. This week we would like you to practise your counting skills at home.  You could use the number cards attached to this home learning and either draw or find the correct number of items to match each number card.

 

Spelling/Phonics

This week we would like you to practise spelling words with the “ch” grapheme in. In some words “ch” can make a /c/ sound (such as school and Christmas) and in other words it can make a /sh/ sound (such as in chef and chute). Complete the ‘Home Learning Challenge’ on the attached sheet.
