In English and Communication this week we are writing from the point of view of Toby. He is the main character in a book we are reading. 

We are creating our own banks of useful words and phrases and then creating first person descriptive sentences of the fire. 

In Phonics, we are revisiting our previously learnt level 5 sounds and then practising reading and writing them in context. We are also practising reading and writing the Level 4 tricky words. 

In Maths, we are focusing on flexible partitioning. We have attached a learning video and activity to the Maths Home Learning blog post. 

In Science and Computing, we are exploring how Information Technology is used in the world around us. 

In Time and Place, we are focusing on the events leading up to and during The Great Fire of London. We are then going to complete a sequencing activity to put these events into chronological order. 

In PE, we are developing our ball skills.
