Term 6 Week 4

Here is an overview of our learning activities for the week commencing 22nd June 2026.
In our Phonics lessons, we will be learning about words containing the ‘are’ and ‘ear’ trigraphs where they make an /air/ sound, such as care, share, wear and bear. We will also be reading the words ‘autumn’ and ‘gone’ and writing the words ‘January’ and ‘February’.
In our English lessons, we will be writing ‘What Am I?’ riddles.
In our main Maths lessons, we will be finding one more than and one less than numbers up to 100 and comparing numbers.
In RE, we will be learning about the core beliefs of Buddhism and will listen to the story of Siddhartha and the Swan. We will then complete some activities linked to this.
On Wednesday morning we will be visiting The Amelia and taking part in a toy workshop.
In Computing, we will be using Scratch Junior as part of our programming module, and we will be learning to move a sprite more than one step at a time.
We have PE on Friday morning, and we will be continuing to practise our athletics skills.
