In English and Communication this week, we will be writing a recount of our trip to the park. We will be focusing on using a range of writing techniques to make our recount interesting for our readers.

In Phonics, we will use 'wa' to make the /wo/ sound and 'qua' to make the  /quo/ sound. Our tricky words are 'half' and 'quarter'. Our grammar focus is apostrophes of possession. 

In Maths, we will continue to focus on Fractions. We will identify and find halves, quarters and thirds. We will also explore how to find whole amounts when only a fraction is provided. 

In Time and Place, we will explore the idea of climate. We will use a range of sources of information to compare the climates of Tunbridge Wells and Vietnam. 

In Science and Computing, we will explore how plants and animals obtain their food. We will then use food chains and food webs to map out our discoveries. 

We will also complete PE, Design and the Arts, Mastering Number, Guided Reading and PHSCE sessions as well.
