In our Phonics lessons, we will be revisiting some of the letter sounds that we have learnt and will be reading real and nonsense words to prepare for the phonics screening check in June.

In Maths, we will be recognising and finding a quarter of an object and recognising and finding a quarter of a quantity.

In English, we will be continuing to use the story ‘The Great Explorer’ by Chris Judge as the basis for our work. This week we will be writing our own adventure story.

In RE, we will be learning about the Hindu story of Rama and Sita.

In Computing, we will be finishing our work on digital writing and will be thinking about whether we prefer writing with a pencil or writing on a laptop.

In our Time and Place work, we will be writing a fact file on Antarctica.

Willow class has PE on Tuesday afternoon and Friday morning. Please make sure that your child has their PE kit in school on these days.
