In Maths this week we are learning about measuring mass. First we will use balance scales and the <> and = symbols to compare mass. Next we will learn how to measure in grams and kilograms. Finally, we will use our arithmetic skills to calculate with mass. 

In English and Communication, we will plan out the final section of our class quest. Next, we will plan, act and write a section of dialogue between Lady Galcier and the Dragon. 

In Phonics, we are adding -er, -est and -y to CVCC and CVC words. Our tricky words are 'special' and 'enough'. Our grammar focus is using nouns and adjectives to improve sentences. 

In Time and Place, we will focus on the role that castle construction played in the Norman invasion of England in 1066. We will focus on Motte and Bailey castles. 

In Science and Computing, we will write a scientific conclusion for the plant investigation that we completed before the holidays. 

We will also complete PE, Design and the Arts, PHSCE, Mastering Number and Guided Reading sessions as well.
