In our Phonics lessons, we will be learning about words containing the ‘ph’ digraph such as ‘dolphin’ and ‘phone’. We will also be reading the words ‘Wednesday’ and ‘brother’ and writing the words ‘because’ and ‘different’.

This week in English, we will be starting to plan a new adventure for Traction Man and thinking about how the story might start.

In Maths, we will be continuing to learn about numbers up to 50. This week, we will be partitioning tens and ones of 2-digit numbers, estimating on a number line to 50 and finding one more and one less than some numbers up to 50.

In RE, we will be talking about The Last Supper and Jesus’ arrest.

Willow class will continue to have PE on Tuesday afternoon and Thursday morning, so please make sure that on these days your child has their PE kit in school and that earrings are removed where possible.
