In English and Communication this week, we are going to create a character description for Lady Glacier, the hero of our class quest. We will use all of the descriptive writing skills we used last term to complete our writing. 

In Phonics, we will add the -est and -y suffixes to words ending in 'e'. Our tricky words are 'search' and 'learn'. Our grammar focus is statements and exclamation sentences. 

In Maths, we will finish our learning about money by solving two-step problems. We will then turn our attention to multiplication and division. We will start by focusing on how to create equal and unequal groups. 

In Time and Place, we will explore the battle for the crown in the year 1066. We will learn about what happened when the Saxon King Edward died and who were the main claimants to the throne. 

In Science and Computing, we will use the TransumLogo software to design programmes which will create regular polygons. 

We will also complete Mastering Number, Guided Reading, PE, RE, Design and the Arts and PHSCE lessons as well.
