I hope you have all had an enjoyable half term.

In Maple Class this week:

We will continue with lots of practice sessions for the show this week.

English: this week will mainly be dedicated to the show, but there will be opportunities to investigate the story in further detail.

Maths: we are finishing the first multiplication unit, taking this week to assess our learning and fill any gaps in understanding.

Whole Class Reading: this week, we will be focusing on our Play in a Week, looking at the script, including the song lyrics, and reading the book to familiarise ourselves with the original story.

Art: this week, we will be continuing our final portrait piece, making further decisions about materials and composition.

RE: continuing on from last term, we will be investigating further aspects of how Sikhs worship.

Time and Place: we will be consolidating everything we know about volcanoes!

In addition, we will also be doing Science and Computing with Mrs Banner.

Homework will be issued on Tuesday as normal, and is due back the following Monday. In addition, please send your children in with their reading records on Mondays and Thursdays. If your child needs a book changed on other days, we will do our best to accommodate this.
