In Phonics, we will be learning about the ‘i-e’ and ‘o-e’ split digraph sounds. We will also be reading the words ‘people’ and ‘looked’ and writing the words ‘do’ and ‘when’.

In Maths, we will be learning about adding more to a number up to 10, investigating adding number problems and finding the missing part on a part whole model.

In English, we will be sequencing and starting to write instructions about how to plant a seed or bulb.

In our RE lesson, we will be talking about who wrote the 4 Gospels in the Bible and how they retell the story of Jesus’ life.

In our Computing lesson, we will be using different shapes and colours to make a picture.

In Art, we will be looking at The Snail by Henri Matisse and using this as inspiration for our own shape pictures. We will also be finishing our pictures inspired by Piet Mondrian.

Willow class has PE on Thursday morning. Please make sure your child has their full PE kit in school on Thursday.

We are starting to practise our nativity play with Year 2 on Tuesday afternoon. Please remember to send in your child’s costume before the end of next week.
