In Phonics, we will be learning to read and write words containing the ‘ea’ digraph (such as bead, seat and least). We will also be reading the words ‘Mr’ and ‘Mrs’ and writing the words ‘were’ and ‘there’.

In Maths, we will be continuing to learn about addition. This week we will be investigating number bonds to 10 and adding differnt amounts together.

In English we will be starting some work on instruction writing. This week we will be talking about how to use imperative (bossy) verbs (such as put, stick, mix) to tell people what to do in our instructions.

Willow class continue to have PE on Tuesday afternoon and Thursday morning this term. Please make sure your child has their PE kit in school on those days.

In our Computing lesson we will be using paint.net to create a picture.

In RE we will be starting a new topic about why Christmas matters to Christians. This week we will be starting to talk about the nativity story and its importance to Christians.
