Welcome to the last week of the school year and the last week in year 3!

It has been a fabulous year, with the children building their independence and making great progress with their learning.

This week will obviously look very different, with lots of exciting events and some important preparations for next year.

On Monday morning, the class will meet their new teacher, and then we will be watching the year 6 production in the afternoon. We will then be attending the Leavers’ Mass and final Leavers’ assembly later in the week.

We still have work to do too, including finishing off our final stories and completing some outstanding topic work. We will also be completing some work for Mrs Barter!

There will be no homework issued this week, but please encourage your child to return home learning books as normal. These will then be sent back home with the other books. Also, please send in reading records and any school reading books by Thursday.

It has been an absolute pleasure teaching the class this year and I wish them all the very best as they move into year 4.
