We visited our school garden and found a spot to sketch.  We used our close observation skills and focused on the use of shading, foreground and background.  We then used our sketch as a basis for our painting.  As inspiration, we looked carefully at the lino print designs of the artist Annie Soudain who lives in Hastings.  She is influenced by the beauty of nature and the natural world.  Annie Soudain has a keen eye for detail and a passion for vibrant colours.
