In our Phonics lessons we will be learning about words containing the ‘tch’ trigraph, such as catch, witch and fetch. We will also be reading the words ‘door’ and ‘floor’, writing the words ‘Wednesday’ and ‘brother’.

In English, we will be using the story ‘The Great Explorer’ by Chris Judge as the basis for our work for the next two weeks. This week we will be writing our own packing list and starting to construct a story plan.

In Maths, we will be recognising and finding half of an object and recognising of a quantity.

In RE, we will be learning about the Hindu story of Rama and Sita.

In Computing, the children will be consolidating what they have learnt about a word processing toolbar and will make changes to the font and the size of their writing.
