Lilac Class found out about how much Queen Victoria loved Tunbridge Wells when she came to visit in 1834 by reading extracts from her journal. We were shown lots of photographs of Tunbridge Wells taken during her reign.  Lilac Class had the opportunity to handle a range of artefacts and to investigate what they could have been used for.  We also explored The Amelia Scott, completing a fact file sheet about the Victorian exhibits.
