Good morning Chestnut Class!

Welcome to the end of the week. 

As it is Friday, we will be following our usual routine, which means PE and times table practise on Purple Mash in the morning.

Celebration Assembly – This is at 9am and you have had a link to join it through parentpay.  It is so lovely to see many faces there and come together as a school community.

Reading for 30 minutes.  You can do this in shorter chunks if you wish.  Please note down what you have read in your yellow reading record.  What are you all reading? 

PE – Try this PE lesson from Yorkshire Sport.  Quite an intriguing idea!

Maths fluency – as we usually spend the second half of the morning practising our times tables on Purple Mash, I would like you to do that today.  You can use the mixed tests or Monster Multiplication.  Alternatively, you can test yourself on Hit the Button or try any of the new games you have used this week

 

Art – This week I would like you to have a go at some 3D hand art.  I have attached a YouTube tutorial, which I found to be quite easy to follow with a highly effective result!
