Good morning Chestnut Class!

Reading for 30 minutes.  You can do this in shorter chunks if you wish.  Please note down what you have read in your yellow reading record.

Grammar – This session is a refresher on using apostrophes for possession and contraction.  I have attached a teaching powerpoint to watch first and then a set of questions.  Please remember you do not have to do all 3 sheets.

Whole class reader – Please re-read Chapter 4 of the Iron Man.  Pick out any vocabulary you are unsure of and investigate what it means.

English – Goblinology booklet. Today we will be working on time adverbials.  We worked on adverbials in the autumn term, but here is a reminder:

An adverbial is a word or phrase that modifies a verb.It provides information about how, where, when or how often something happens.
