Term 6 Week 3

Here is an outline of your learning for term 6, week 3:.
Term 6 Week 3– overview
Our ukulele lesson with Mr Lawrence will happen as usual on Monday afternoon.
Spelling and grammar – we will be looking at words from the statutory year 3 and 4 spelling list.
This week we will have assessments in reading, writing and maths.
In science, we will begin learning about the human digestive system. We will be learning about the different types of human teeth and their functions.
In RE, we will be learning about the principles that guide Hindu Dharma. We will learn about dharma, the cycle of samara, karma and moksha.
In our history lesson we will be asking why the Anglo-Saxon tribes wanted to invade Britain.
Reading records will be sent home, with free-reading children choosing a book from the selection in class or bringing one from the reading scheme. All children have an additional book in their tray for reading sessions in class. Please could we have reading records in school to be checked on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Homework will be issued this Wednesday and is due on the following Monday.
