Term 6, week 6

This week is all about the play! On Monday, we will spend the day at the Trinity Theatre, rehearsing and going through the lighting etc. Then, on Tuesday, we will have a dress rehearsal in the morning, followed by the final performance in the afternoon.
I know the children are very excited about this, and we are hoping as many people as possible will be able to come and watch. Please remember to go onto Arbor to book your tickets, and if there are any issues, please email the class email address.
We also have sports day later in the week and a very exciting visit from the author, Ross Montgomery, so the rest of the week will be full of fun too!
For the times in between, we will still be learning, albeit on a very much reduced basis!
English: In English this week, we will spend some time writing our non-chronological reports.
Maths: In Maths we will continue the fractions unit, looking at equivalent fractions and beginning to add and subtract fractions.
Sports Day: The children will need to arrive in full PE kit please, so we will remind them to bring home their PE kits on Wednesday.
Please note, there will be no further homework this term, but please can the children bring back their Home Learning books and reading records.
I am always happy to answer any questions you may have, so please do contact me if you have any queries, using the class email address:
Best wishes
