This week we are going to complete our final chapter for our class quest. We are aiming to use and apply all the writing skills that we have learnt this term. Next, we will turn our attention towards recount writing. We will read recounts and identify their key features. We will also plan a recount of our recent trip to the park. 

In phonics, we will focus on using 's' to make the /zh/ sound. Our focus words are 'sure' and 'sugar'. Our grammar focus is to use the thesaurus to improve our vocabulary choices. 

In Maths, we will continue to focus on fractions. We will count in fractions, explore unit and non-unit fractions and practise finding the whole when we know a fraction of the whole. 

In Science and Computing, we will use the data that we collected on our field trip last week to create graphs and answer questions.  

In Time and Place, we will finish our Knights and Castles unit by adding to the concept map that we created at the midpoint of the enquiry. 

We will also complete Mastering Number, PHSCE, Guided Reading, PE, RE and Deign and the Arts sessions as well.
