In English and Communication this week, we are going to finish writing the Stone Troll chapter of our class quest. We are then going to move on to our final chapter. We will begin by planning a dialogue between our hero and villain. 

In Phonics, we are adding the -er, -est and -y suffix. Our tricky words are 'special' and 'enough' Our grammar focus is to improve sentences by selecting effective nouns and adjectives. 

In Maths, we are going to finish our learning on temperature and then turn our attention towards fractions. We are going to explore the relationship between parts and wholes. 

In Science and Computing, we are going to focus on habitats. We will match plants and animals to their habitats and explore how each plant and animal has adapted to suit its environment. 

In Time and Place, we will compare and contract castles from different stages of the Mediaeval period. 

We will also complete PE, Design and the Arts, Mastering Number, Guided Reading and PHSCE activities as well.
