In English and Communication this week, we are going to turn our attention towards narrative writing. We are going to focus on telling the part of our quest in which Lady Belle sneaks past the Cave Troll. 

In Phonics, we will focus on adding -ing and -ed suffixes onto CVC and CCVC words. Our tricky words will be England and tongue. Our grammar focus is irregular past tense verbs. 

In Maths, we are going to start learning about measuring mass in g and kg. We will complete practical measuring activities and learn how to read and interpret scales. We will also use our arithmetic skills to solve problems with mass. 

In Science, we are going to focus on writing a scientific conclusion for the investigation that we planned last week. 

In Time and Place, we are going to complete an explanation text which details the events leading up to and immediately following the Norman invasion of England in 1066. 

We will also complete PE, Design and the Arts, PHSCE, Mastering Number and Guided Reading sessions as well,
