This week in Phonics we will be recapping some of the sounds we have already learnt, in preparation for next week’s phonics assessment. Next week the children will be working individually with Mrs Duncombe to read some nonsense and real words as part of the National Phonics Screening Check.

In Maths, we will be completing some assessments and starting a new topic about describing turns..

In RE, we will be learning about the core beliefs of Sikhism and will listen to the story of the Milk and the Jasmine Flower. We will then complete some activities linked to this.

As part of our Time and Place work, we will be talking about and locating Europe on a map.

In PE on Tuesday afternoon and Thursday morning, we will be continuing to develop our athletic skills. Please make sure your child’s PE kit is in school on those days.

In Computing, we will be using Scratch Jnr to start programming a sprite.
