It was so lovely to see so many faces at our story time session and at our online Acts of Worship during the week. Thank you for making the effort to attend these sessions. This coming week Willow Class are having story times on Tuesday at 2:15pm and Thursday at 11:30am. It would be great if you are able to join us for these sessions.

Please try to read for at least 20 minutes per day. If you need more reading books please contact us via the class email address and we will try to help you.  Remember to keep on sending in pictures of you reading at home so we can add them to the blog.

In Phonics this week we will be learning the letters sounds ‘ey’, ‘a-e’, ‘e-e’, ‘i-e’ and ‘o-e’. Activities will be set daily to help you practise our new letter sound.

In English, we will be continuing to learn and write about animals and animal groups, including how to care for pet fish. We will also be doing some work using the word “because” to join two sentences.

In Maths this week we will be finishing our work on addition and subtraction within 20 and working on number bonds for 10 and 20. We will also be practising reading numerals and number words to 20.

We will also set wider curriculum activities during the week. This will include RE (Monday), Art (Tuesday), Science (Wednesday), PE (Thursday) and ICT (Friday).
